Industries

Where we have done this before

Sector depth matters less than most firms claim and more than none. These are the six where we hold reference work we can talk about.

  • Financial Services

Core modernisation, payments and risk platforms built to survive an audit as well as a launch.

    • Core banking modernisation
    • Payments and settlement
    • Risk and regulatory reporting
  • Healthcare & Life Sciences

Clinical and claims systems where interoperability, privacy and provenance are the hard requirements.

    • Interoperability (HL7/FHIR)
    • Claims automation
    • Clinical data platforms
  • Manufacturing & Supply Chain

Plant-floor and logistics data joined up so planning decisions run on current numbers, not last month’s.

    • Industrial IoT and telemetry
    • Demand and inventory planning
    • Supplier integration
  • Retail & Consumer

Commerce, merchandising and customer data platforms that hold up through peak rather than despite it.

    • Commerce replatforming
    • Customer data platforms
    • Merchandising analytics
  • Energy & Utilities

Asset, grid and field-operations systems where downtime has a meter running against it.

    • Asset performance management
    • Field workforce systems
    • Grid and meter data
  • Technology & ISVs

Platform engineering and AI features for software companies shipping to their own customers.

How we work

Four stages, and a date for the last one

Every engagement runs this way. The handover date is agreed at kickoff, which is what stops a programme quietly becoming a retainer nobody reviews.

  1. 012–4 weeks

    Diagnose

We map the estate, the constraints and the business case before proposing anything. The output is a decision, not a deck — including the option to do nothing.

    You get

    • Current-state assessment
    • Prioritised opportunity map
    • Costed delivery options
  2. 024–8 weeks

    Prove

One thin slice, running against real data, measured against the target. If the slice does not clear the bar, we say so and the programme stops there rather than at month nine.

    You get

    • Working thin slice
    • Measured baseline vs. target
    • Go / no-go recommendation
  3. 033–9 months

    Scale

Full build, hardened and integrated with the estate around it. Joint teams from day one so the client team inherits a system they already know how to run.

    You get

    • Production system
    • Runbooks and observability
    • Trained client team
  4. 04Ongoing

    Hand over

Ownership transfers on a date agreed at the start. We stay available on a defined support footing rather than an open-ended retainer nobody reviews.

    You get

    • Signed-off handover
    • Documentation and architecture decision records
    • Agreed support model

Selected work

Judged on what shipped

Each of these names the problem, what was built, and the measured result — including the engagement where the recommendation was to stop.

All case studies
  • AI Services

    66%faster median handling

    Problem
A 40,000-claim monthly backlog handled by 120 assessors, with cycle time drifting upward for six consecutive quarters.
    Solution
Document extraction and triage in front of the existing claims system, with human review kept on every decision above a confidence threshold.
    Result
Median handling time fell from 11.2 days to 3.8. No assessor roles were cut; the team absorbed a 30% volume increase without hiring.

  • IT Consulting

    £11mcapital not committed

    Problem
A board-approved £14m core banking replacement, twelve weeks from contract signature, with no independent view of the business case.
    Solution
A four-week diagnostic covering the true cost of the existing estate, the migration risk profile, and three alternatives including doing nothing.
    Result
The replacement was cancelled. A targeted modernisation of the four highest-cost components delivered 80% of the benefit for under a fifth of the budget.

  • Technology Solutions

Corvus Logistics / Transport & Logistics

Real-time visibility across 1,400 vehicles and nine depots

    <90sdata latency, from 18 hours

    Problem
Nine depots on four systems, with fleet position reconciled overnight in a spreadsheet and planners making decisions on data up to 18 hours old.
    Solution
A streaming ingestion layer over the existing telematics and depot systems, feeding one operational data model and a planner-facing view.
    Result
Position data is current to under 90 seconds. Empty-running fell 12% in the first full quarter after rollout.

    Priya Raghavan

    Chief Technology Officer, Northwind Mutual

  • “The thing that stood out was the handover. Our team had been running the platform for six weeks before the engagement formally ended, and nothing broke when it did.”

Why VijnoraTech

Three things you can hold us to

  • Senior people on the work

The architect in the pitch is the architect on the build. We do not staff a pyramid and bill it as a team.

  • Fixed-scope diagnosis

Discovery is a fixed price with a fixed end date, and it ends in a recommendation you can act on without us.

  • Handover is the deliverable

Runbooks, decision records and a trained client team ship with the system. Dependency on us is a failure mode, not a business model.

Your AI pilot succeeded and it told you nothing

A pilot run on curated data, with the team watching, against no baseline, is a demonstration. It predicts almost nothing about production behaviour — and the gap is where most AI budgets go.

The modernisation you should not do

Replacement is the default recommendation because it is the easiest to scope and the easiest to sell. It is frequently the wrong one, and the analysis that shows this takes about four weeks.

Handover is a design constraint, not a phase

If the handover plan starts after the build, the system has already been designed to need you. Everything about how it was built assumed a team that was there for the decisions.
